Naturtrompete in Brezelform
This instrument is a replica of a pretzel-shaped natural trumpet by Anton Schnitzer
(Nuremberg) from the year of 1585.
This replica trumpet is in F or Eb which is in
contrast to the original instrument which is in a somewhat too high E according
to present-day tuning.
The Schnitzer instruments are striking gems which were manufactured for certain
representation purposes.
They show a level of highest mastery in all details.
